Contractors Licenses Expiring September 2011 |
The Town of Shalimar requires that all contractors doing business in the town limits carry a valid Town of Shalimar Contractor's Tracking Certificate (CTC). If you have hired a contractor that is not on the following list, please send them to the town hall with their current liability insurance, current workmen's compensation information, current (10-11) Okaloosa County Occupational License or Okaloosa County Competency Certificate and current state license (if applicable -- not all contractors are required to be state licensed). The CTC costs $20 from October 1 - March 31 and $10 for April 1 - September 31. If your contractor has a current CTC but they are not yet on the list, you can double check with the Shalimar Town Hall at 651-5723 or e-mail us. Sometimes the new CTCs don't get posted to the web site immediately so there may be a brief layover period.
