Town of Shalimar

Goals for the 2002 Calendar Year

1. Mitigate storm water drainage problem at Clifford Drive and Gardner Drive.

2. Construct right turn lane at Cherokee Road and Eglin Parkway.

3. Construct ribbon curbing along edge of Snug Harbor Drive.

4. Complete in-house Town Hall renovation projects.

5. Begin development of addition to Cherokee Park.

6.  Reorganize and purge public records files and town maps (records vault).

7.  Update and standardize Town Hall/Police Department computer hardware/software.

8.  Revamp, standardize and improve Town web site.

9.  Codify (incorporate) Town ordinances into Town Code of Ordinances (last 1995).

10.  Increase department manning to provide 7 days per week police coverage.

11.  Update police department uniforms.

12.  Institute nightly business security checks.

13.  Revamp Meigs School safety zones and signage.

14.  Repair body and repaint town tractor.
