MINUTES

SHALIMAR PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD

REGULAR MEETING – JANUARY 26, 2000

The regular meeting of the Shalimar Planning and Zoning Board was called to order by Chairman Eddie Phillips on January 26, 2000 at 6:35 p.m. He also led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

ROLL CALL FOR THE RECORD:

Co-Chair Roy Pimental – present
Secretary Ursel Behnken – present
Member Patty Culjak – absent
Member Jimmy Jones – absent
A quorum was present.

OLD BUSINESS:

I. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 17, 1999 MEETING – Roy Pimental moved to approve the minutes of the Nov. 17, 1999 meeting as written. It was seconded by Ursel Behnken and passed unanimously.

Minutes containing statements of the cancellation of the December meeting were submitted for signature.

II. APPROVAL OF MR. SUTTON’S CODE CHANGES FOR THE P & Z – Ursel Behnken moved to approve Ordinance No. 2000-05 and to submit it to Town Commission for its final vote. It was seconded by Roy Pimental and passed unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS:

I. APPOINT MITIGATION REPRESENTATIVE – Mr. Pimental is not able to continue being on the Citizen Advisory Board, but he has boxes of information available for anyone who would like to take over. He suggested to put information in the March Tidbits to ask for volunteers. The meetings will be held April 26, July 26 and Oct. 25 at the Water & Sewer Building on Lewis Turner Blvd.

ANNOUCEMENTS – The next meeting will be held February 23, 2000.

ADJOURNMENT: Roy Pimental moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m. It was seconded by Ursel Behnken and passed unanimously.
