ORDINANCE NO. 2000-03
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING CURFEW AGE AND HOURS
WHEREAS, the Town of Shalimar has previously adopted a curfew ordinance for persons under 16 not to be or remain in a public place between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
WHEREAS, the Town of Shalimar wants to change and adopt the following: curfew ordinance for persons under 18 not to be or remain in a public place between the hours of 11:01 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN OF SHALIMAR, FLORIDA:
That the Code of Ordinances, Town of Shalimar, Florida, is hereby amended with the modifications below:

A minor may not be or remain in a public place or establishment between the hours 11 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day, Sunday through Thursday, except in the case of a legal holiday. A minor may not be or remain in a public place or establishment between the hours 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
